August 8, 6pm, at Northeast High School is Meet the Coaches Night for Fall Athletes. Physical forms are due on Monday, and players cannot participate
in tryouts without completed physicals. Forms are available on our Welcome page.
Spring Festival - Saturday May 7 Spring Festival to benefit Northeast High School Athletics and Clubs. Saturday, May 7, 2011 - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Northeast High School Stadium, 1121 Duvall Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122. Please join us rain or shine for a family fun filled day of: Sports challenges and prizes

Enjoy live entertainment on 2 stages and a Battle of the Bands
Northeast Alums - don't miss this last event in the
stadium before it's demolished to make way for the new stadium and athletic facilities. Cost: $5.00 ages 13 and older,

Senior Recognition Night - Fri April 29
April 29th we are going to have our Spring
Sports Senior Recognition in between the lacrosse games on The recognition will begin somewhere around 6:30 after the girls
play. Please join us in thanking and congratulating our athletes for their years at Northeast and participation on our
teams. Senior Athletes should see coaches or AD for information form that needs to be completed and turned in.
Senior posters will be displayed.
Spring Tailgate - Fri April 29
April 29th – The Athletic Boosters will host the Winter/Spring
tailgate. Tailgate is open to all winter/spring athletes. The booster provides free
hotdogs / hamburgers and drinks for this event. We ask that teams bring side dishes to share.
A tent will be set up alongside of the concessions for the tailgate. If you would like to help in
organizing this event or provide additional items please contact our concessions coordinator Terri Smith @ stcnsmith@verizon.net

NCAA Information Night - Thu March 31
Northeast High
School with the Northeast Athletic Boosters will host an NCAA information night for potential college athletes on Thursday,
3/31/11. The presenter is this year is Coach Plevyak. He is the soccer coach for the Stevenson Mustangs, ECAC South
Champions. He will address a broad spectrum of the process for participating in NCAA sports.
Senior Basketball Night - Fri Feb 18 Senior Basketball Night will be held on Friday February 18, at Glen Burnie High School, during
the Girls' and Boys' games. Girls Recognition - 5pm

Spread the Warmth - Dec 20, 21, 22 Many in our community are in need. We are holding a drive to collect the following items:
blankets, coats, hats, gloves, scarves.

Meet the Coaches Night - Mon Nov 8 If you have a student playing a winter sport, please plan to attend our "Meet the Coaches
Night" Monday November 8 at 7:00pm. You will have the opportunity to learn about the new winter season
and hear the latest information on concussion awareness. Please plan to attend. Eagle

Senior Night Tailgate - Friday October 29 Senior Athlete Celebration and Tailgate. Please bring a main dish or side dish to share.
The Athletic Boosters will provide drinks, hotdogs and hamburgers. Tables will be setup inside the stadium by the concessions.
Tailgate is open to Fall sports teams' athletes and parents. Concessions will also have Cream of Crab soup and Eagles

Alumni
Night - October 14 Come
join us October 14th for Alumni Night - this is not just for athletes - anyone who went to, taught at or
otherwise affiliated with Northeast HS. This will be your last chance to walk around the school before it is remodeled.
There will be a lot of former teachers and students attending. Don’t miss your chance to bid on theme baskets
put together by our sports teams:

* University of Maryland Basket - Girls Lacrosse
* Tee Time Basket - Golf

to some of your favorite teachers old and new. There will also be a virtual tour of the new building!

NHS Athletics will be without a home field for the next 2-3 years. It's imperative for our sports programs
that we continue to raise funds during this time to be able to provide all our sports teams with the additional funding needed
for each sport.
